Visual identity, editorial, and web design for a publication exploring humor as a form of alternative therapy. The project uses wit and cultural commentary to reflect on daily life (from sports to labor) without taking sides, aiming to foster both laughter and critical thought.
The typographic system features Mabry (Colophon Foundry) for headlines, blending geometric precision with a humanist touch, and Graphik (Commercial Type) for body text to ensure neutrality and balance.
A defining red spiral binding serves as a core brand element, while a diverse selection of paper stocks—offset, coated, and translucent—creates a tactile, dynamic reading experience. The digital extension offers supplementary video content and interviews, maintaining visual consistency through unified image treatment and a color-coded categorization system.
