BARCELONA POSA’T GUAPA
Drawing inspiration from the iconic '92 urban beautification campaign, this fanzine offers a critical lens on Barcelona’s Eixample district. Through raw graphic language and experimental typography, the project builds a visual narrative that challenges the idealized image of the neighborhood, deconstructing the institutional myths of the actual city.
While the copy maintains a polished, institutional tone, the layout and visual aesthetic subvert this narrative to reveal a harsher, unfiltered reality. This deliberate friction between form and content exposes the gap between official rhetoric and everyday life. Ultimately, the project reclaims the fanzine as a powerful space for critical dissent and experimentation within contemporary editorial design.
